WellnessSync: one habit across watch, phone and TV
A single habit lives on three screens with three very different attention budgets. I designed each for what a person can actually do there, on one shared system.

The problem
One health habit lives on a watch, a phone and a TV, and each has a very different attention budget.
My role
Reimagined the three screens on one shared model as a working prototype.
The result
Glance on the watch, act on the phone, review on the TV, all driven by one state and one progress ring.
This is a 2026 reimagining of an earlier portfolio project, rebuilt as a working prototype. See the original WellnessSync project on Behance ↗ (opens in a new tab)
01 — The problem
Same data, three attention budgets.
On a watch you have a second. On a phone you have a minute. On a TV you have the room, from three metres away. Shrinking one design to fit all three fails all three.Judgement
02 — Design decisions
Three design calls.
Glance, act, review
Watch: one number, one ring, one action. Phone: log and see today. TV: ambient review of the week. Each screen is given a single job.Judgement
One model, one component for the ring
The same progress ring and the same state drive all three. Log on the watch and the phone and TV change with it, so there is no sync problem to design around.Design-level
TV gets the largest type tier, not a scaled phone
Type, ring and spacing on TV are chosen for reading from across a room, so the information is legible without a remote or leaning in.Judgement
03 — Prototype
Log a walk. Watch three screens agree.
Log from here, or from the watch’s +10 button, and see all three update together.

One shared model drives all three. Illustrative week data.
04 — Outcome
What I can stand behind.
- 3 surfaces rendered from 1 state and 1 ring component.Design-level
- Watch interaction limited to 1 number and 1 action.Design-level
- Progress is always conveyed by number as well as ring, so it never depends on seeing the arc.Design-level
How I would validate it: a legibility check of the TV view at 3 metres on a real display, recording what can and can’t be read.
